Adding Notes

Your budget and your targets are what keep you on track. But every once in a while, you've just got to leave yourself a note. Maybe there is something special about this month, or you need to say something about a particular category. Can do!

How to Add Notes to a Category

  1. Select your category.
  2. At the bottom of the Inspector (the righthand sidebar), click below the Notes bar (just about anywhere will do!). You can use Shift+Enter to create a line break.
  3. Hit Enter or Return on your keyboard. Your note will appear in the category for each month.

The Notes section is in the lower right corner of the right sidebar. Click below the heading to type a note and hit Enter.

How to Add Notes to a Month

  1. Click the Enter a note button below the month name.
  2. Click the OK button to save your note.

At the top of the budget screen underneath the month and year, a note can be entered.
